We’re looking for candidates who have a least 3 years of professional programming experience that are passionate about Web3.
Not necessarily. At this time as we manually review each application, including looking through projects you’ve built and code you’ve written. We may reach out for more code samples if necessary.
Yes. Worst case, we’ll let you know what you need to work on to be relevant for future cohorts.
Fees & Finances
We don’t charge tuition, just a $5,000 deposit which we’ll return to you when you accept a job at a partner company.
If you Google “Web3 engineer salaries” you’ll see some crazy numbers. We cannot guarantee those and we are set to report specific stats for our grads when available, but “more than you make now” is a likely sufficient answer.
Curriculum & Program
No - the 8-week program is designed to be flexible, though very demanding.
devMint is a cohort-based program, which means that you’ll be learning with and interacting with other engineers across the country.
However, in an effort to integrate you into a remote, asynchronous, decentralized work environment (the world of Web3), we’ve made every effort to do the same with our program.
This means that much of the instruction will be delivered through our self-paced curriculum (though on a rigorous schedule) along with flexible office hours and live support.
Primarily our curriculum is designed to help you rebuild your mental model for developing applications as the shift to building decentralized software is a massive paradigm shift, even for most experienced Software Engineers.
Beneath that umbrella, we’ll dive into Solidity, the anatomy of Blockchain transactions, Ethereum, Developing/Testing/Deploying/Auditing Smart Contracts, integrating Smart Contracts into Web2.0, architecture, security, Defi, and more.
Job Placement
We’re continuing to add more weekly, but our partners are Web3 companies and DAOs that are utilizing blockchain tech across a variety of industries.
Yes - training you is only half of what we do. We work on behalf of our partners to match you with them.
